Option A

The past 12 years have been a steady decline into a new depression. The rich of our economy have continued to get richer and are only taxed for a very small, insignificant, amount. While the poor have been taxed for most of their money and only get poorer. The Government has been unable to cut spending and work on decreasing the national debt, and now so many American citizens suffer from the effects.

The Government raised taxes on both rich and poor, so now the poor struggle to pay their taxes let alone pay for essentials such as rent and food. Many people now rely on the charity of the well off in order to survive. Despite all this our debt has not reduced in the slightest.
